Happy New Year to all our clients. Effective Thursday 9th February, 2012 Mhar's Hair Salon Pinelands is now under direct management of the owners

 

In 2006 Mhar migrated to Australia from the Philippines and brought a wealth of hairdressing, salon management and hairdressing training experience to the Australian hairdressing industry. October 2006 saw the establishment of a modest 3 cutting station salon in Springfield with a staff of one other. In 2007 Mhar completed Certificate IV in Training and assessment then taught at a major hairdressing academy in Brisbane to become fully acquainted with Australian training methods.

 

In July 2008 the Calamvale salon in the new Calamvale Central Shopping Centre, Compton Road was officially opened by the Deputy Mayor of Brisbane, Cr Graham Quirk. A spacious salon with 8 uncluttered cutting stations. September 2008 saw the Springfield salon move to much larger premises at 2/8 Commercial Drive, Springfield and the salon adopted the same theme and colour scheme as that of the Calamvale salon.

On 31st July 2009 settlement was achieved on the purchase of the Price Wave salon in Cannon Hill and the salon commenced operating as Mhar's Hair Salon on 1st August and was officially opened by the Deputy Mayor of Brisbane, Cr Graham Quirk on 12th October, 2009. Mhar maintains the same affordable prices at all salons with the Calamvale and Cannon Hill salons operating 7 days a week.

 

Salons now at Calamvale, Pinelands, Cannon Hill, Wynnum, Southport and now internationally in the Philippines.
